Adam an 8th day creation
Some don’t believe that Adam and Eve were the first 2 humans. The idea is that on the 6th day God created humans, then on the 8th day God created Adam and Eve.
I’ll explain the reasons for Adam and Eve being an 8th day creation then you can decide.
Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
In Genesis 2:1 the heavens and the earth are finished.
Gen 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and [there was] not a man to till the ground.
Now God is saying that there was no man to till the ground, no farmer. So when did God create man? Let’s go back to Genesis 1:26.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
In Genesis 1:26 God created fisherman and hunters.
Then in Genesis 2:7 God created a farmer, Adam.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Notice that in Gen 1:26 and 2:7 both use the word man. I looked this up in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible and found that both use the Hebrew word H120, אדם or ‘adam in English, which can mean a man, mankind, or Adam the first man. So is there a difference between the word man in Gen 1:26 and 2:7?
To take this a step further I cracked open The Companion Bible and for the word ‘man’ it referred me to Appendix 14 where it explains the synonym words used for “MAN.” It says that Adam without the article denotes man or mankind in general, E.G. Gen 1:26, 2:5, 5:1. With the particle (‘eth) in addition to the article it is very emphatic, and means self, very, this same, this very, E.G. Gen 2:7, and it’s the first occurrence of this.
So according to E. W. Bullinger there is a big difference between the word man in Gen 1:26 and Gen 2:7.
I thought it would be interesting to see how The Septuagint translated Gen 1:27 and Gen 2:7, since both verses are about creating a man.
LXX Gen 1:27 And God made man, according to the image of God he made him, male and female he made them.
LXX Gen 2:7 And God formed the man of dust of the earth, and breathed upon his face the breath of life, and the man became a living soul.
Interesting, in Gen 2:7 it says God formed “the” man and in Gen 1:27 it says God made man. It seems that there is a clear difference of the word man according to The Septuagint which further confirms that in 1:26 God created mankind and on the 8th day in 2:7 God created The Adam.
If Genesis 2 is just Genesis 1 in more detail then we would expect the order of creation to be the same in each chapter. Interestingly, we find a difference that further clues us to Adam being an 8th day creation.
First let us look at Genesis 1. In verses 1:20 – 1:24 God created the animals, then in verse 1:26 he created man.
Gen 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl [that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Now Genesis 2 God created man then created the animals.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.
The order of creation is different. I believe that this implies God created man and animals on day 6, then on day 8 he created animals to help Adam with farming. According to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible, in verse 2:19 the word fowl in ‘every fowl of the air’ is Hebrew word H5775, עוף `owph which can mean flying creatures, fowl, insects, or birds. H5775 (fowl) is used in both 1:20 and 2:19. It is possible that on the 8th day God created insects to help with pollination but these insects were not created on the 5th day.
In conclusion I think we should be open to the possibility of Adam being an 8th day creation. He was created in Gods image and he was the start of the Geneology of which Christ would come.

This fact is also proven later on when Cain went out from the presence of the lord, and dwelt in” the land of nod, “on the east of eden. and Cain knew his wife.” There were cities and entire nations already in existence (the 6th day creation)

After much study of the 6th day, I noted “God made them in “His image”. Immortals.They are not angels or demons. Gen. 6:2 “sons of God” took daughters of “men” and made them wives and bearing children and these same “giants” became mighty men which were of “OLD, men of Renown.” Mankind (8th day) will become immortals just as Jesus is now immortal. 6:6 What grieved God? That the immortals had mated with the mortals? And the LORD said, “ I will destroy “man”, and those things He “created” (spoken into existence on the 5th day). Noah found grace because he had a pure blood line back to Adam and Eve who are mortals, and noting “because the giants were in [those days] and [also after that].” <- the flood? God expelled Adam and Eve from the garden so that they could not eat of the tree of Life and become immortals knowing evil for eternity. Are these giants architects and builders of the Pyramids, and great wonders, and crop circles? Who and where are they? I think we know.

The 8 th day creation is what we were taught at St. Joseph of Arimathea in Freeport, Il. You can see the difference in creations. Most people do NOT want to see the difference because they are religious and NOT Spiritual…GOD said worship me in spirit and truth. It is also what happened when JESUS told St. Nicodemus that you have to be born again & it is said that no one could physically be born again.
There are many false prophets out there today, so we need to be careful that we are not deceived, Matthew 24:4. We need to read and meditate on the bible.
In the book of Acts, chapter 17, verses 25-28, Luke writes, “And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.” ” 26 From ONE MAN (Adam) HE MADE EVERY NATION OF MEN, THAT THEY SHOULD INHABIT THE WHOLE EARTH; and he determined the times set for them and THE EXACT PLACES WHERE HE SHOULD LIVE.”
Also, read Genesis, Chapter 11, Verses 5-10 (The tower of Babel). The Lord came down to see what the people were doing and said, 6 “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” 8 so the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 that is why it was called Babel-because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world.
I forgot to mention that Chapter 2 of Genesis is an account or narrative of chapter 1.
Chapter 2, verse 4, “This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.
Account means, “narration or description.” Narration means, “to relate, tell, recount, describe, (give a story or account of, provide a spoken accompaniment for) The Oxford, American Desk Dictionary and Thesaurus, 2nd Edition.
Also, Genesis, Chapter 1, verses 27 and 28;
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth ans subdue (meaning bring under control) it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Even before Adam and Eve ate of the tree of good and evil, God had already told them (Chapter 2, the 6th day) to “be fruitful and increase in number.” In Chapter 3, verse 16 (after they sinned) 16 To the woman he (God) said, “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. This suggests to me that Adam and Eve could have started their family while still in the Garden of Eden.
Why would God increase Eve’s pain in childbirth if she was not already having children.
And why would God tell the serpent that it would crawl on it’s belly and eat dust all the days if it’s life if it was already crawling as snakes do. If you research snakes with legs, you will find that some snakes had legs.
Also, the men of renown, Giants (Nephilim) are fallen ones. The fallen angels, which were cast to the earth.

Your right Karl. Everyone’s big question where did cain get his wife? So simple from 6 day creation.And cain was off spring from the eighth day creation. I have heard some who have not studied the Bible say he married a sister. How foolish is this? Cain was the first one kicked out of the garden. That theory when was the sister kick out :). Sixth and eight day creation explains it all with out foolish unreasoning.
